The Left Democratic Front (LDF) staged a protest, accusing Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan of being dismissive toward the severe hardships faced by ordinary citizens due to rising fuel costs. Leader of the Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan criticised Satheesan’s response during a debate on an adjournment motion, stating that the Chief Minister had “skimmed over the pain” of households burdened by supply chain disruptions linked to the ongoing US-Iran conflict.
