A tragic accident occurred in Kota, Rajasthan, on Wednesday morning. Two senior railway engineers died after soil collapsed at a construction site of an underbridge near Kota Railway Station. According to officials, the incident took place around 10 AM while construction work was underway. The sudden collapse of soil caused panic among the workers present at the site. Rescue operations were immediately launched at the spot, but tragically, both engineers had already succumbed before rescuers could reach them.
As soon as the incident was reported, police, fire brigade, and local administration teams arrived at the scene. Five other workers were injured in the accident and were rushed to the hospital. Among the injured, two are reported to be in critical condition. The police have initiated an investigation into the accident, considering it an unfortunate mishap.
