A daring burglary in the Pratap Nagar area of Kota district, Rajasthan, has left both police and locals stunned. In the early hours of Tuesday, thieves broke into an unoccupied house and made away with a substantial haul of cash, a laptop, and gold jewellery. The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage, revealing the criminals’ every move.
Around 2 a.m., the burglars targeted a house in Pratap Nagar, Kota. The homeowner was away at the time. Using an iron rod, the thieves forced open the main door before entering the house. According to the CCTV footage, they stole ₹65,000 in cash, one laptop, and approximately 35 grams of gold jewellery. After completing their theft, the intruders left the iron rod outside the house.
Police arrived at the scene promptly after receiving the report and launched an investigation. Authorities confirmed that the iron rod used to break in bore clear marks, indicating the use of force to gain entry. The homeowner was questioned and informed of the full details of the incident. Police are pursuing further leads and are working to apprehend the culprits as soon as possible.
