A labourer died under suspicious circumstances in an industrial area of Pune city on Wednesday night. Police have begun investigating the incident. According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kumar (35), a resident of Kushinagar district in Uttar Pradesh. He was working as a labourer at a construction site in Pune.
Local residents stated that the deceased was found dead in his rented room at around 10 pm on Wednesday night. Initial investigations revealed no external injuries, leading police to suspect other possible causes behind the death. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dikshit said that the case is being thoroughly investigated, and a search for suspects is underway.
