New Delhi, 12 June 2024: India’s largest insurer, the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), on Wednesday unveiled a new joint-life insurance plan called ‘New Jeevan Saathi’. Designed specifically for married couples, the plan offers insurance protection to both spouses under a single policy. The scheme was launched by R. Doraiswamy, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of LIC. The company has introduced two variants—‘New Jeevan Saathi Single Premium’ and ‘New Jeevan Saathi Limited Premium’—giving customers the flexibility to choose based on their needs and preferences.
