A shocking incident has come to light in Vadodara. A trader who arrived in Vadodara from the Democratic Republic of Congo, via Mumbai, developed a fever, following which he was admitted to Vadodara’s renowned Banker Hospital. According to recently surfaced reports, since the trader’s symptoms appeared to be Ebola-like, hospital staff immediately took precautions and began his treatment.
According to hospital sources, the trader had developed a fever and exhibited several other symptoms, prompting doctors to conduct a thorough examination. Ebola is a serious and contagious disease whose early symptoms include fever, headache, muscle pain, followed by severe vomiting and diarrhea. To prevent the spread of the disease, the hospital took immediate action and placed the trader in an isolation ward.
Hospital officials stated, “The trader’s symptoms were brought to our attention, and he was immediately placed in isolation while treatment was initiated. His samples have been sent to the Regional Medical Research Laboratory in Rajkot for testing. Until the results are received, we are taking all necessary precautions.”
