Lucknow, April 12 – A heated altercation at a mundan ceremony held at a residential complex in Gomtinagar, Lucknow, escalated into a violent clash on Tuesday evening. Tent workers allegedly attacked the guests, leading to a swift police response. Seven people sustained injuries in the incident, of whom three were discharged from the hospital after receiving minor treatment, while four others are still undergoing medical care.
According to local residents and witnesses, the confrontation erupted over a dispute between the guests and tent workers regarding payments. The workers alleged that they were underpaid, while the guests claimed that the staff had demanded additional money. The argument quickly turned physical, with the tent workers allegedly assaulting the guests. Police sources stated that around 20-25 individuals from both sides were removed from the scene, and legal action is being taken against them.
