Lucknow, October 2: Under the Uttar Pradesh government’s ambitious ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ initiative, over 85 citizen grievances have been successfully resolved in Lucknow. This was confirmed by officials of the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) on Monday. The initiative aims to provide government services to the public in a hassle-free manner, ensuring quick resolution of citizen issues.
The ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ initiative is designed to deliver various government services directly to citizens’ doorsteps through a digital platform. Under this scheme, more than 15 services—including land records, birth and death certificates, and vehicle registration—are being offered. LMC Commissioner Shrikant Jag said the initiative is intended to empower citizens.
According to the LMC, most of the 85 complaints resolved were related to land records, including issues concerning residence certificates, property tax payments, and road repairs. The resolution process for these grievances was completed by Monday, and relevant documents have been handed over to the complainants. The initiative provides both online and offline channels for lodging complaints.
