The Varanasi-Lucknow special train service, which was halted a few days ago due to various reasons, has resumed daily operations starting today. According to officials from the Northern Railway, this train is part of the expansion plan for the Howrah-Delhi route, with the objective of providing better connectivity within Uttar Pradesh. The train will depart from Varanasi at 12:30 PM today and reach Lucknow. On its return journey, it will depart from Lucknow at 6:45 PM, stopping at intermediate stations such as Sakaldi and Rae Bareli. Passengers have expressed their satisfaction with this decision, stating that it will provide them with greater convenience. Previously, the train operated only three days a week, but with its resumption of daily services, passengers will have more flexibility. The railway department also hopes to attract more passengers through this move. Political leaders have opined that the operation of this special train will play a significant role in the economic and social development of Uttar Pradesh.
