A case has been filed against a wife for allegedly murdering her husband in Malda district of West Bengal. The incident occurred when the husband was traveling from Chennai to Hyderabad in search of a new job. According to local sources, the husband's name is Rahul Sarkar (28), who was working in an institution in Chennai and was going to Hyderabad for a new job. The officer-in-charge of the local police station stated that Rahul Sarkar went to board a train to Hyderabad from Malda railway station on Saturday morning. Before boarding the train, he called his wife, Mitali Sarkar (26). During the conversation, an argument started between Mitali Sarkar and her husband, and eventually, allegations of murder were raised against Mitali. Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that Mitali Sarkar had planned to murder her husband and was already involved with a local person. The police also stated that Mitali Sarkar had allegedly planned to kill her husband by poisoning him. However, no evidence has been found yet. The local administration is taking the matter seriously and has ordered a speedy investigation. The police have already arrested Mitali Sarkar and will take legal action against her.
