Srinagar, 2 June 2026: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ke president aur ex-J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti ne regional leaders, including Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, ko ek chitthi likhi hai. Unhone pooraan political differences ko side rakh ke ek saath aakar PM aur Home Minister se baat karne ki appeal ki hai. 2 June 2026 ko likhi gayi is chitthi mein Mufti ne "Ladakh jaise united outreach" ki zaroorat batayi hai taaki Government of India ke saath ek sustained dialogue shuru ho. Leh Apex Body (LAB) aur Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) ke recent breakthroughs ko unhone iske saboot ke taur par pesh kiya hai, kyunki dialogue se hi meaningful outcomes milte hain.
Mufti ne kaha hai ki J&K apne history ka ek crucial moment par hai, jahan poore region mein despair aur disillusionment ka mahaul hai. Unhone zyada emphasis diya ki is deadlock ko todne ke liye sabhi parties ko ek broad consensus banana hoga jo party lines aur partisan interests se upar ho. "Regional parties ke beech disagreements aur squabbling ne J&K ke collective interests ko nuksan pahunchaya hai," unhone likha, aur iske saath hi yeh bhi kaha, "Ek reasonable consensus, especially post-2019, hi ekmात्र solution hai." Mufti ne leaders se appeal ki hai ki woh political point-scoring ko chhod ke common good par dhyaan dein aur Indian Constitution mein diye gaye logon ke rights aur dignity ko restore karne par focus karein.
Apni chitthi mein Chief Minister Omar Abdullah ko address karte hue, Mufti ne unki support ko "is political platform ki success ke liye prerequisite" kaha. Unhone unse appeal ki ki woh sabhi regional parties ki ek official meeting bulaen taaki Central Government tak pohancha ja sake. "Agar Ladakh yeh kar sakta hai, toh hum bhi kar sakte hain," unhone kaha, jabki Leh Apex Body aur Kargil Democratic Alliance ke united efforts aur Centre ke saath engagement ko reference diya. Mufti ne is baat par zor diya ki is unprecedented time mein genuine unity se hi J&K ke logon ke rights aur dignity ko restore karne ka raasta khul sakta hai.
Yeh chitthi aur bhi kai key leaders tak pahunchayi gayi, jismein shamil hain — BJP ke Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee ke president Tariq Hameed Karra, CPI(M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, People’s Conference ke chairman Sajad Gani Lone, MP Engineer Rashid, J&K Aam Aadmi Party ke president Mehraj Malik, Peoples Democratic Front ke chairman Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, J&K National Panthers Party ke president Harsh Dev Singh, Shiv Sena (J&K unit) ke president Manish Sahni, Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti ke president Sanjay Tickoo, aur Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee ke Chairman Jaspal Singh.
Mufti ki appeal tab aayi hai jab J&K mein political uncertainty aur social unrest badh raha hai. Unhone highlight kiya ki regional parties ke beech dialogue ki kami aur infighting ne crisis ko aur gahra kar diya hai, jisse logon mein abandonment aur disillusionment ka mahaul hai. "Ab time aa gaya hai ki hum sab PM aur HM tak ek united outreach karein aur unse J&K ke logon ke saath sustained dialogue shuru karne ki guzarish karein," unhone likha, aur situation ki urgency par zor diya.
Ex-Chief Minister ne individual political gains par collective welfare ko zyada important bataya. "Yeh political credit ya point-scoring ka matter nahi ho sakta. Yeh toh logon ke interest mein ekta ka moment hona chahiye, jo hum sab represent karne ka daava karte hain," unhone kaha. Mufti ki unity ki appeal is baat ko reflect karti hai ki regional leaders mein yeh samajh badh rahi hai ki fragmentation se sirf J&K ke logon ko aur marginalization hoga aur democratic processes aur constitutional rights ki restoration mein aur delay hoga.
Yeh chitthi political cohesion lane ki taraf ek important kadam maani ja rahi hai. Observers ka kehna hai ki past mein unity ke attempts mein rivalries ki wajah se failure mila hai, lekin Mufti ki is initiative se agar diverse political factions ek saath aate hain, toh yeh ek turning point sabit ho sakta hai. Centre ke saath proposed dialogue ka outcome bahut closely dekha jaega, kyunki isse J&K ke political aur social landscape ki future trajectory decide ho sakti hai.
