An incident of a woman being threatened has been reported just 100 metres away from the S.M.S. (Shree Mahadevi Sharma) Police Station in Jaipur. According to local media reports, a man approached the woman near her home and threatened her, saying, “Be my wife… or I’ll shoot.” It has also been alleged that he behaved indecently with her.
The incident took place in the Bapu Nagar area of Jaipur, sources said. After the woman immediately informed the police, a case was registered at the SMS Police Station. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter. Though no formal complaint was filed by the woman, the police have taken up the case suo motu.
The identity of the man who issued the threat remains unknown. However, since the incident occurred in a public place near the woman’s residence, the police are examining CCTV footage and questioning witnesses in the surrounding area. The woman and her family are reported to be safe, with no harm caused.
