A surprise inspection by the District Cane Officer during the ongoing sugarcane survey has bolstered confidence among local farmers. The primary objective of this inspection was to verify accurate data related to sugarcane sowing and production.
District Cane Officer Sanjay Kumar stated that the inspection was conducted transparently and in the best interest of the farmers. He said, “Our effort is to ensure that sugarcane farmers receive the full benefits of their hard work. The surprise inspection will help confirm that there are no discrepancies in the survey process.” During the inspection, officials visited several villages and interacted directly with farmers to understand their concerns.
