On that day, a group of men were demanding that the 70-year-old Muslim shopkeeper, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, drop the word "Baba" from his shop's name. When Deepak intervened, the men asked him his name, to which he replied, "Mohammad Deepak", in a show of solidarity with the shopkeeper.
