A distressing and sensitive case has come to light in Kalaval village, Satna district, Madhya Pradesh. 24-year-old Manoj Kushwaha took his own life due to his wife, Sanjana Kushwaha, refusing to return home and harassment. Before taking the drastic step, Manoj recorded two emotional videos on his mobile phone while sitting on a jamun tree, which have gone viral on social media. In these videos, Manoj is seen crying and sharing his ordeal, holding his wife Sanjana and her family members responsible for his death.
Manoj Kushwaha had married Sanjana, a young woman, about nine months ago in a love marriage. The couple had first gotten married in court and then lived together in Pune, Maharashtra, for eight months. They had returned to their hometown a few days ago. On May 27, they came home, but Sanjana left for her parental home in Bhategwan, Ragauv police station, and refused to return when Manoj asked her to come back. This behavior from his wife put Manoj under immense mental stress.
