An unusual incident unfolded in a Nagpur neighbourhood on Monday evening when a drunk young man, after a dispute with his wife, reached his in-laws' home. According to police sources, the incident occurred around 6:30 pm. The man, identified as 28-year-old Rahul Sharma (name changed), a resident of the locality, reached his in-laws' residence where his wife stays.
Local resident Ramesh Meshram stated that Rahul, after a fight with his wife at their home, arrived at his in-laws' house in an intoxicated state. Upon reaching, he leaned on an iron pipe outside his father-in-law’s house and attempted to climb down from the roof. During this, he lost his balance and fell from a height of about 10 feet. The fall resulted in serious injuries, following which he was rushed to the hospital.
