The maximum temperature on Friday is expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to remain at 24 degrees Celsius. However, the weather department has warned that the temperature may rise again after June 2, which could increase people's troubles. A severe heatwave had been prevailing in many parts of the country for the past few days, with the mercury rising above 45 degrees Celsius in several cities.
