The 34-year-old, who plays for Santos in Brazil’s domestic league, suffered a grade two muscle injury during training, according to team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar. Medical examinations, including an MRI scan, confirmed the severity of the injury, and Lasmar stated that Neymar would require two to three weeks to recover.
