Patiala, August 10 — A significant event unfolded today at Shri Kali Mata Mandir, a revered religious site in Patiala, when the mother of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann visited the temple to seek the blessings of the deity. She offered prayers and paid her respects to Mata Kali. The temple priests and devotees warmly welcomed her.
Speaking about the occasion, the head priest of the temple, Shri Ram Saran Das, said that after viewing the idol of Mata Kali, the Chief Minister’s mother offered prayers and sought blessings for the well-being of her family. He added that her visit serves as an inspiration for devotees as well.
Earlier, on March 16, 2022, Bhagwant Mann was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Punjab. He is associated with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and has actively participated in various religious and cultural events throughout his political career. His mother’s visit to the temple reflects his deep connection to his familial roots and religious traditions.
