Obscene visuals played on TV for three minutes at Patna railway station; railway officials hesitant to act on passenger complaints

Passengers have alleged that obscene scenes from a film were displayed continuously for about three minutes on the TV screen. It is believed that these visuals were shown on the station’s public address system or electronic display. While passengers reacted immediately, controversy has erupted over the station officials’ failure to resolve the issue promptly.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, and passengers revealed that the station was very crowded that day. Despite some passengers creating a ruckus after seeing the obscene visuals on the TV screen, station officials neither acknowledged the issue nor turned off the screen. The matter has sparked widespread outrage on social media. “Ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers is the railway’s responsibility. Such an incident is highly shameful,” said some passengers.

Officials, including the Railway Protection Force (RPF), have assured that an investigation into the incident will be conducted. “Some protesting passengers reportedly damaged station property, so we will proceed with the inquiry immediately,” they stated. They also mentioned that they will review the security camera footage to clarify the sequence of events.
