A horrifying incident unfolded in a remote village in Hyderabad last Tuesday at midnight. A mother named Ajmeera (name changed) left her two-month-old baby sleeping on a mat outside their home. Suddenly, a leopard emerged from a nearby field and snatched the infant right before her eyes. The incident has sparked widespread discussion among locals.

Ajmeera had placed her baby on a mat outside her home and sat down to rest briefly as night fell. Around 1:30 AM, a leopard approached from the direction of the field and carried the baby away in front of her, according to her neighbors. Ajmeera’s screams alerted nearby residents, who rushed to help with torches and sticks, chasing the leopard away. However, by then, the leopard had already carried the baby some distance, local police confirmed.

Neighbors followed the leopard’s trail into the bushes but were unable to locate the baby after an extensive search. They immediately informed local police and forest department officials, who launched a joint search operation. After nearly two hours of searching, authorities found evidence suggesting the leopard had dropped the baby and retreated into the forest. However, they suspect the baby may have already been consumed by the leopard.
