A shocking revelation has emerged that several mobile numbers of ministers in the Uttar Pradesh government were being routed to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) via a youth from Ghaziabad. According to reports, Jayant Kumar (name changed), a resident of Ghaziabad, was allegedly acting as a conduit between ISI agents and UP ministers. The conspiracy involved a dangerous mix of greed for film reels, fascination with weapons, and ISI’s expansive network.
Initially interested in the film reel trade, Jayant later developed an obsession with arms collection and sales. It was during this phase that he came into contact with ISI agents, who lured him with promises of money and weapons. Following this, he allegedly procured the mobile numbers of several UP ministers and attempted to transmit them to Pakistan, as revealed during the investigation.
The Ghaziabad Police and the Industrial Security Force (ISD) have been investigating the conspiracy. Jayant and his ISI handlers have been arrested, and the mobile phones and digital devices used to collect and transfer the ministers’ numbers have been seized. Investigations suggest that details of over 15 ministers were on the verge of being leaked to Pakistan.
