The Juhu Police Station in Mumbai has arrested a woman named Rashmi Chhabria (47), who is accused of stealing jewellery worth approximately ₹25 lakh and two expensive watches from the home of Veena Tandon, mother of actress Raveena Tandon. According to the police, Chhabria had been in contact with the Tandon family since 2020 and frequently visited their home under the pretext of caring for Veena Tandon (approximately 84 years old). Initially, when questioned by the family, Chhabria denied the theft, but later, upon the family informing the police, she confessed to breaking into the locker and stealing the valuables.
