A tragic incident in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district has plunged an elderly woman’s life into darkness. The recent loss has devastated the entire family and left the elderly woman’s future uncertain. According to local sources, the woman, around 70 years old, recently lost her husband and her only son within two months. Having lost the two pillars of her life, she has been left grappling with severe mental trauma.
The woman’s son was a 45-year-old man who passed away a few days ago due to illness. Earlier, her husband had also succumbed to a heart attack. The loss of both her husband and son has left the woman with no will to live. Overwhelmed by grief, she has been crying out, “Will anyone be a support in my life?” The incident not only highlights the plight of the family but also exposes the weaknesses in society.
Local authorities and social workers, upon learning of the incident, are rushing to provide immediate assistance to the woman. Observing the family’s dire situation, officials have taken steps to ensure she receives a pension and other benefits.
