Bhagalpur, February 14, 2024 – With Saraswati Puja approaching, the Bhagalpur district administration has issued a comprehensive set of guidelines aimed at ensuring safe, orderly, and peaceful celebrations across the city. The move comes as a proactive measure to maintain public order and prevent any incidents that could disrupt the festive spirit. District Magistrate Mr. Rahul Sharma, in an official statement, urged all communities, organizers, and devotees to strictly adhere to the directives to ensure a harmonious celebration.
The guidelines, released on Wednesday, cover multiple aspects of the puja celebrations, including crowd management, sound system regulations, waste disposal, and traffic restrictions. “We are committed to providing a safe environment for all citizens during Saraswati Puja,” said Mr. Sharma. “These guidelines are designed to prevent overcrowding, control noise levels, and ensure smooth movement of devotees to and from puja pandals.” He also emphasized the importance of proper waste segregation and urged organizers to use biodegradable items in decorations and offerings.
