MLA Sankar Ghosh from the Siliguri Assembly constituency met with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday to discuss the final formalities for the ROB’s opening. Ghosh stated that the bridge, which has been under construction for several years, is now fully operational and ready for public use once the official inauguration is conducted. “I have apprised the CM about the status of the ROB and requested her to fix a date for inauguration at the earliest,” Ghosh told reporters after the meeting.
