Bengaluru, May 24, 2026: The Bengaluru South police have suspended six personnel, including a sub-inspector, an assistant sub-inspector, and four constables, for alleged dereliction of duty after explosives were discovered near the route used by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the city on May 10. The suspension orders were issued by Superintendent of Police Srinivas Gowda, following the recovery of an explosive-filled box near Vaderahalli Gate in Bengaluru South taluk.
