Hyderabad, June 12 — Police in Telangana’s Suryapet district have arrested a 30-year-old woman and her alleged lover after they reportedly conspired to kill her husband, Muthyam Reddy (42), and conceal his body on farmland. The accused woman, identified as Kalpana, had initially filed a missing person complaint on May 18, claiming her husband had vanished without a trace.
According to police sources, investigations revealed inconsistencies in Kalpana’s statement. Authorities conducted a thorough search of the area surrounding her residence and eventually located the buried body on June 11. The deceased was identified as Muthyam Reddy, who had allegedly been killed by Kalpana and her lover, identified as Ramesh (32), a resident of the same village.
