Madurai – Strong solidarity dikhate hue, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) ke crew members ne Monday afternoon ko Sholavandan depot par dharna diya. Yeh protest Sunday night ke violent incident ke response mein tha, jismein ek bus driver par knife se attack kiya gaya tha. Protest karne walon ne chaaron accused ki immediate arrest aur strict action ki maang ki, kyunki unko crew members ki duty ke dauran safety ko lekar serious concerns hain.
Police reports ke according, incident Sunday ko 11:30 pm ke around hua jab ek empty TNSTC bus Sholavandan depot ki taraf jaa rahi thi. Driver ne Karupatti-Sholavandan road par parked ek car dekhi, jo vehicles ki free movement ko block kar rahi thi. Jab driver ne car walon se usko hataane ko kaha, toh heated argument ho gaya. Situation escalate hui aur accused ne driver Prasad par knife se attack kar diya, uske head par. Attack se driver ko serious head injuries hui.
