Twisha Sharma, who died after being admitted to a private hospital in Mohali near Chandigarh, was cremated today at the cremation ground in Sector 35 of Mohali. After Twisha's death, her family waited for 12 days, during which time the medical team from AIIMS Delhi conducted two post-mortems to investigate the actual cause of death. According to the received information, Twisha's first post-mortem was conducted at the hospital in Mohali where she was admitted. However, due to suspicions, a separate medical team from AIIMS Delhi was called to conduct a second post-mortem. The AIIMS team has completed its investigation and their report may take some more time to arrive. Meanwhile, Twisha's family decided to perform the last rites peacefully. The Punjab Police is also investigating the case of Twisha Sharma's death. Initially, the family had alleged negligence on the part of the hospital, which led to Twisha's death. At the same time, according to the family, Twisha did not have any serious illness and was completely healthy before. The police are now conducting a detailed investigation into the matter so that the truth can come out.
