Amravati, Maharashtra – A tragic accident on the outskirts of Amravati city has left two people dead and one critically injured after a speeding truck collided with a motorcycle on Wednesday evening.
According to local police, the incident occurred around 6:15 PM near the Katol Road underpass. Eyewitnesses reported that the truck, allegedly driven by a 35-year-old man named Ravi Deshmukh, was traveling at high speed when it suddenly swerved into the motorcycle’s path. The force of the impact ejected both the rider and the pillion rider from the vehicle. The motorcycle rider, identified as 28-year-old Rajesh Kamble, and the pillion rider, 22-year-old Priya Wankhede, succumbed to their injuries on the spot. A third person, a pedestrian standing nearby, was also struck and suffered severe injuries. He was rushed to Amravati District General Hospital in critical condition.
