Unnao, Uttar Pradesh – The state government has expedited work on a crucial plan to link the Kanpur Ring Road with the Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway. This project will not only improve traffic conditions in Kanpur city but also significantly enhance connectivity in Unnao and surrounding areas. According to officials, the proposed route will provide a bypass for vehicles passing through the outer parts of Kanpur, helping them avoid the city’s congested zones.
Under the project, a specific section of the Kanpur Ring Road will be integrated with the Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway. This integration will streamline movement between the two major road networks and help people avoid long detours. Officials stated that the proposal has received both technical and administrative approvals, and land acquisition and construction work are expected to begin soon. Once completed, the project will also reduce travel time between Kanpur and Lucknow.
