Ajmer, Rajasthan – A dangerous incident unfolded in the Beawar area of Ajmer on Tuesday when a gas cylinder exploded during the illegal dismantling of an old vehicle. Two brothers, identified as 28-year-old Rakesh and 25-year-old Rajesh, suffered life-threatening burn injuries in the blast, prompting immediate medical attention.
According to local police, the brothers were engaged in cutting and scrapping parts from an abandoned vehicle in an open plot when the cylinder, reportedly used for domestic purposes, suddenly detonated. The force of the explosion caused severe burns to over 70% of their bodies. Eyewitnesses described a loud bang followed by thick black smoke, with neighbours rushing to help extinguish the flames.
