New Delhi, June 5 — Delhi ne Wednesday ko June ki sabse thandi shuruat record ki, kyunki temperatures ne seasonal average se kaafi neeche chala gaya. India Meteorological Department (IMD) ke according, minimum temperature 23.8°C par settle hui, jo 2021 ke baad is season ki sabse neechi reading hai. Maximum temperature bhi normal se neeche raha, jo 35.6°C tak peecha, isse logon ko garmi ki tej dhadkan se kuchh rahat mili.
IMD ne is unusual temperature drop ka reason western disturbances aur Arabian Sea se aaye moisture-blown winds ko bataya hai, jinhone northwest India ke kuchh hisson mein cloud cover aur scattered rainfall generate kiya hai. Yeh temporary relief toh de raha hai, lekin IMD ne Delhi aur aas-paas ke areas ke liye next 24 hours mein isolated thunderstorms aur gusty winds ka alert bhi jari kiya hai.
