Kolkata: West Bengal’s former Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee on Sunday levelled serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), describing its actions as “state terrorism” and vowing to challenge them through legal means. Addressing party workers and supporters in Kolkata, Banerjee invoked the judiciary and the Constitution, asserting that the courts are the true protectors of the law. “I want to remind the judiciary that they are the true protectors of the law... I will continue to fight a legal battle against state terrorism. I will see which holds more power—the Constitution or the nozzle of a gun,” she declared.
