Kerala Government Approves ₹1.8 Crore Road Works in Sulthan Bathery Assembly Area

The Kerala government has approved road improvement works worth ₹1.80 crore in three grama panchayats under the Sulthan Bathery Assembly constituency. The funds have been released from the asset development fund of the sitting MLA, I.C. Balakrishnan. The projects include tarring of existing roads, formation of new roads, concreting of stretches, and construction of culverts and side protection walls. The works are spread across Noolpuzha, Ambalavayal and Pulpally grama panchayats.
In Noolpuzha grama panchayat, ₹55 lakh has been sanctioned for three separate road projects. The highest allocation is ₹20 lakh for tarring the Naikkatti–Mathamangalam-Pulimaram Kavala road, which is expected to improve connectivity in the western part of the panchayat. Another ₹20 lakh has been earmarked for the formation of the Chithralakkara Vayal Varambu road, a new alignment that will serve agricultural and residential zones. The third project in Noolpuzha receives ₹15 lakh for tarring the Karyambadi Paniya Unnathi road, enhancing access for local communities.
