Mamata Banerjee, the supremo of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), has dared the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to arrest her if they want, as she vowed to proceed with a protest in Kolkata on June 2 against the alleged attacks on her party's leaders and workers. The protest, which was initially planned to take place at Rani Rashmoni Avenue, was denied permission by the police, but Banerjee remains undeterred. In a Facebook video, she stated that the TMC would protest even without police permission, and if they are not allowed to hold the protest in Kolkata, she would take it to Delhi.
