A shocking case has emerged in Faridabad district of Haryana, leaving everyone stunned. A 2-year-old child residing in the area had been suffering from persistent cough and fever for several days. The family assumed it to be a common seasonal illness and treated it accordingly, but when the child's condition worsened, the relatives took him to the doctor. The examination conducted by the doctors revealed a shocking discovery. In fact, a TV remote bulb was found in the child's lung. The bulb had been swallowed by the child while playing, which got stuck in the airway of his right lung.
The child was admitted to the emergency ward of a private hospital in Faridabad on May 11. The doctors examined him and found that the remote bulb was deeply lodged in the lower part of his lung. According to the doctors, the situation became even more critical due to the presence of metal wires and glass in the bulb. Prolonged entanglement had also led to inflammation and granulation tissue, making the operation extremely challenging.
