A shocking incident came to light in Adampur village, Adampur, Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday when a brother allegedly murdered his own sister over a romantic relationship. The incident sent shockwaves through the area, prompting police to launch a thorough investigation at the scene. It is reported that the accused brother has fled, and police are now on the hunt for him.
The deceased has been identified as Adiba, aged around 21 to 22 years. Her brother, Amir (approximately 25 years old), allegedly slit her throat with a knife on Sunday. According to police, Adiba was in a relationship with a young man and frequently spoke to him over the phone. Amir, who disapproved of this, is said to have taken the extreme step. He killed his sister in what appears to be an "honour killing" and fled the scene.
