The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has brought its re-evaluation portal live, making it easier for students to apply for rechecking of their Class 12 answer sheets. The portal had been down since yesterday—Monday—causing inconvenience to students. However, it is now functional, and students can submit their applications.
The CBSE confirmed this via a tweet, stating that the re-evaluation portal is now live and accessible to students. Applicants can follow a step-by-step process to submit their requests. The board had announced that it would activate the portal for re-evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets from June 1, after claiming to have fixed technical issues on its website.
This year, approximately 18 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examinations. Both students and parents are frustrated with CBSE’s handling of the process, expressing strong dissatisfaction with the board’s functioning. The issues are not isolated—many students have reported that supplementary or additional answer sheets they had submitted do not appear in the scanned copies they received. Some have even claimed that the scanned copies provided to them do not match their actual answer sheets.
