CBSE Class 12 Answer Sheet Photocopy, Marks Verification Applications to Begin June 1, but Portal in Maintenance Mode

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was set to initiate the online application process for Class 12 board exam 2026 answer sheet photocopies, marks verification, and re-evaluation following the declaration of results. The process was scheduled to begin on June 1, 2026. However, on the scheduled date, the CBSE’s official portal went into maintenance mode due to technical issues, disrupting the entire application process. Since morning, thousands of students and their parents have been attempting to apply through the portal, but the website displays the message, “Site is under maintenance, will be available soon.” This has left students struggling to apply for re-evaluation and re-verification of their answer sheets and pay the required fees.

Earlier, on May 29, 2026, the application process could not commence, adding to the frustration and inconvenience for students. Now, even on June 1, the portal remains dysfunctional, affecting a large number of examinees. Since the CBSE conducts this process online, the technical glitch has caused significant inconvenience. Several students had previously complained that errors in their answer sheets had crept in due to the on-screen marking system, leaving them dissatisfied with their scores. Now, with the portal unavailable, their difficulties have only multiplied.
