The Solapur division of Central Railway conducted a comprehensive fire safety seminar and live demonstration for Travelling Ticket Examiners (TTEs) and frontline staff at Solapur Railway Station on May 23, 2026. The initiative was designed to strengthen onboard safety and emergency preparedness across the division by equipping railway personnel with essential knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively to fire-related incidents in trains and station premises.

Frontline staff were educated on identifying different classes of fire—Class A, B, C, D, and F—and the appropriate methods to extinguish each type. The training included hands-on guidance on handling, operating, and safely using firefighting equipment during emergencies, complemented by live demonstrations to boost the confidence of participating staff.
