Agartala, June 10: A shocking incident has come to light in Tripura’s Sepahijala district, where a nine-year-old boy allegedly lured his six-year-old neighbour with flowers and sexually assaulted her at her home. The crime took place on Saturday while the victim was alone with her elder sister, and both parents had gone to cut grass in the fields.
According to police sources, the accused, a resident of the same village, reportedly befriended the younger girl and offered her flowers. He then took her inside the house, where he committed the heinous act. The elder sister, who was in another part of the house, reportedly noticed something unusual and alerted their parents upon their return. The parents immediately took the child to a local hospital, where medical examination confirmed the assault.
