The Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] has strongly criticised the National Testing Agency (NTA) and demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan following the alleged leakage of the NEET-UG 2026 examination paper. In a resolution passed unanimously during its Central Committee meeting held from May 22 to 24, 2026, the party expressed deep concern over what it termed as the repeated failure and loss of credibility of India’s centralised examination system.
