The IMD has issued a yellow alert for Delhi for today and tomorrow, with a possibility of rain, thunder, and strong winds blowing at a speed of 50 km per hour in the afternoon. Additionally, there is a possibility of thunderstorms, rain, and strong winds in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The meteorological department stated that the monsoon may advance in the Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and several parts of the Bay of Bengal over the next four to five days. During this period, warnings have been issued for heavy rain, strong storms, lightning, and hail in various states across the country. There is a risk of rain and storm in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar today. An alert has been issued for rain in several districts of UP, including Lucknow, while a yellow alert has been issued for several districts in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh. A warning has also been issued for storm and rain in several districts of Bihar, including Patna. There is also a possibility of thunder, strong winds, and hail in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and the Vidarbha region. Heavy rain is expected in western Madhya Pradesh on June 1, with strong winds blowing at a speed of 70 to 90 km per hour in several places. There is also a possibility of rain in several districts of Rajasthan. The weather is expected to remain bad in the hilly states.
