Rain Alert in Delhi and North India for the Next Four Days; Know Where Heavy Rain is Expected

A rain and storm alert has been issued for the national capital Delhi and several states in North India for the next four days, starting from today. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Delhi and its surrounding areas, predicting rain for the next four days. According to the meteorological department, a decrease in temperature has been observed due to the western disturbance, providing relief to people from the severe heat and heatwave. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius today. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for Delhi for today and tomorrow, with a possibility of rain, thunder, and strong winds blowing at a speed of 50 km per hour in the afternoon. Additionally, there is a possibility of thunderstorms, rain, and strong winds in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The meteorological department stated that the monsoon may advance in the Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and several parts of the Bay of Bengal over the next four to five days. During this period, warnings have been issued for heavy rain, strong storms, lightning, and hail in various states across the country. There is a risk of rain and storm in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar today. An alert has been issued for rain in several districts of UP, including Lucknow, while a yellow alert has been issued for several districts in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh. A warning has also been issued for storm and rain in several districts of Bihar, including Patna. There is also a possibility of thunder, strong winds, and hail in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and the Vidarbha region. Heavy rain is expected in western Madhya Pradesh on June 1, with strong winds blowing at a speed of 70 to 90 km per hour in several places. There is also a possibility of rain in several districts of Rajasthan. The weather is expected to remain bad in the hilly states. Light rain is expected in several districts of Uttarakhand, including Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, and Bageshwar, today. Additionally, there is a possibility of lightning in several districts. The weather is expected to remain bad in Himachal Pradesh for the next four days, with a possibility of rain and strong winds. There is also a possibility of rain in the northeastern states. Heavy rain is expected in several places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Strong winds may blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour in Assam and Meghalaya between June 3 and 6.
