Following the collapse of a section (P-5 to P-6) of a under-construction bridge over the Betwa River in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, the state government has taken stringent measures by forming two high-level probe committees. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the gravity of the incident and assured that strict action would be taken against those responsible. Separate high-level committees have been constituted by the district administration and the Uttar Pradesh Bridge Corporation, both of which have initiated a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
