The Indian government has strongly objected to the references made to Jammu and Kashmir in a joint statement issued by Pakistan and the European Union. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, addressed the media on Tuesday, stating that India categorically rejects such unwarranted references in the Joint Press Communique on matters internal to India. The statement was made in response to the Eighth Round of the European Union-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue, which took place in Islamabad on Monday.
