Ladakh ka Lieutenant Governor ne 15 Common Facility Centres launch kiye, jisse rural economy ko boost milega, aur women aur youth ko empower kiya jayega

Leh (Ladakh), June 2, 2026: Rural empowerment aur economic self-reliance ki taraf ek mahatvapurn kadam uthate hue, Ladakh ke Lieutenant Governor, Vinai Kumar Saxena, ne Tuesday ko Union Territory ke across 15 newly established Common Facility Centres (CFCs) dedicate kiye. Is initiative ka uddeshya micro-enterprises ko strengthen karna, women aur youth ke liye sustainable livelihood opportunities create karna, aur remote villages se migration ko rokna hai, taki communities ke andar economic activity ko badhaya ja sake. Ye 15 CFCs Skurbuchan, Wanla, Saspol, Chuchot, Kharu, Anlay, Koyul, Korzok, Chushul, Phobrang, Sato, Panamik, Diskit, Turtuk, aur Digger mein strategically locate kiye gaye hain, jo ki Ladakh ke diverse regions ko cover karte hain. Har centre ko sirf production unit ke roop mein nahi, balki holistic hub for rural development, community participation, aur economic empowerment ke roop mein dekha ja raha hai. Saxena ke anusaar, ye centres handloom activities ko promote karne, local entrepreneurship ko nurture karne, aur rural youth mein skill development ko facilitate karne mein mahatvapurn bhumika nibhayenge. Modern tools aur shared infrastructure ko access provide karke, CFCs ko naye avenues of self-employment unlock karne ki ummeed hai, jo ki vishesh roop se women aur young entrepreneurs ko remote areas mein benefit karega. Is initiative ka uddeshya Ladakh ka rich handloom heritage ko preserve karna bhi hai, aur local products ke liye market access ko enhance karna hai. Saxena ne jor diya ki ye centres artisans ko wider national aur international markets se connect karne mein madad karenge, jisse rural economy ka growth ho aur Ladakhi craftsmanship ki visibility badhegi. Lieutenant Governor ne dohraaya ki ye centres villages ke andar sustainable sources of income generate karne mein madad karenge, jisse urban centres mein livelihood ki talash mein migration ki jarurat kam hogi. Unhone kaha ki isse rural communities ko self-sufficient aur economically resilient banaya ja sakta hai, aur local residents mein pride aur ownership ka ehsaas jagta hai. Ladakh ki geographical isolation ke kaaran economic development mein unique challenges aa rahe hain, isliye CFCs jaise initiatives ko critical interventions maana ja raha hai, jo local talent aur resources ko harness karte hain.
