A shocking incident has come to light in Thane district, Maharashtra. A domestic dispute took a violent turn, resulting in the brutal murder of a woman by her husband. Acting swiftly upon receiving information, the police have arrested the husband.
According to sources, the incident occurred on Saturday night in a residential area of Thane city. Police stated that the couple had been embroiled in a long-standing marital dispute. During an argument that erupted again on Saturday night, the husband allegedly launched a fatal attack on his wife.
As per the local police station, neighbors reported the incident after hearing the woman’s loud screams. By the time the police arrived at the scene, the woman was found severely injured. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead. A First Information Report (FIR) was filed, and the husband was taken into custody. The police have charged him under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
