Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2024 in Nagpur on June 28; 16,000+ candidates to appear across 35 centres

Nagpur, June 10, 2024 – The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2024, conducted by the Maharashtra State Examination Council (MSC), will be held on June 28, 2024. In Nagpur district, 35 centres have been designated for the exam, where over 16,000 candidates will appear. Officials stated that the exam will be conducted from 11 AM to 2 PM. Candidates have been advised to arrive at their centres on time with their admit cards and valid identification.

Officials confirmed that adequate arrangements have been made at all centres in Nagpur district for the TET exam. The allocation of exam centres will be mentioned on the candidates' admit cards. Additionally, social distancing and COVID-19-related guidelines must be followed during the exam. Candidates will also undergo thermal screening before entering the exam centre.

The TET exam is a crucial test for teacher recruitment in government and private schools across Maharashtra. Those who qualify will be eligible to apply for teaching positions. This year, over 16,000 candidates from Nagpur district have registered, which is higher than previous years. Officials also stated that sufficient staff has been deployed at exam centres for security and monitoring.
